City Council TexBox service launch
Westminster
City Council is improving access to its services by introducing
innovative ways for deaf and hard of hearing community to
contact the council. Technology now available will include:
A 21st century textphone service - with the TexBox solution
textphone callers can now access all of Westminster City Council
services, or using the virtual textphone from the Westminster
website. Direct interactive live calls with any department, by
calling one number.
The system will also provide a text message service for callers
to send an SMS to the council.
